Three Sisters

Site location

I visited Bunker Bay in Western Australia to capture the sun setting, but my shot just didn't work. As I was leaving, I saw these trees and immediately knew that I would have to return the next morning. Arriving early the following day, I was greeted by some extremely hungry mosquitos who wanted to have me for breakfast. As a morning glow began to illuminate the sky, clouds formed and went through a spectrum of warm vibrant colors as the sun sat just below the horizon. The long exposure created a dreamy movement of clouds on a warm January morning, I got the shot and all was right with the world.
